Scotia cuts lending rate Print E-mail

scotia_cuts_lending_rate_tn.jpg Scotiabank Jamaica in mid-October 2009, announced another reduction in interest rates – this time a sixty-two-and –a-half basis-point cut in the base rate used for commercial credit.

 

The reduction scheduled to become effective November one, 2009 brings Scotiabank’s base rate to 19.87 percent – the lowest in the commercial banking sector.
